KY 218 in Metcalfe Co. set for temporary closure

By Wes Watt

A pavement repair and resurfacing project will temporarily close a section of KY 218 Crail Hope Road in Metcalfe County beginning Monday, September 20, 2021. The closure is expected to last until early October while crews replace a culvert pipe.

The road will close at mile point 0.1 near the Hart County line. A signed detour will be in place utilizing Center Three Springs Road and KY 1243 Atwell Road. The entire project is between the Hart/Metcalfe County line at mile point 0.0 and extending east to the Metcalfe/Green County line at mile point 3.5. Motorists should expect flaggers to be present through the remaining section of highway encompassed by this work zone.
