Lilly Irene Franklin, 58, Adair Co., KY native (1963-2021)

Lilly Irene Franklin of Greensburg passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg. She was 58 years old.

Graveside services for Lilly Irene Franklin will be conducted at 1pmCT on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at the Tarters Chapel Cemetery in Adair County, Kentucky.

Lilly Irene Franklin, daughter of Lillie Mae Murphy Franklin and the late Paul C. Franklin, was born on Wednesday, September 4, 1963 in Adair County, Kentucky.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

Besides her mother, Irene is survived by a brother and two sisters: Coy Lee Franklin of Florida, Maggie Sue Franklin and Carletta Lynn Franklin both of Greensburg; aunts and uncles: Doc Murphy, David Murphy, Maggie Grider, and Doris Jean Murphy; a nephew: Evan Murphy; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
