JOY Ministries Mission Week

By Hannah Peck

JOY Ministries has been hard at work this summer ministering to students of all ages through Camp HOPE and JOY's tenth year of Mission Week. Students learned about the love of Christ, serving others, and enjoyed fellowship and field trips. 20 campers took part in Camp HOPE, while 60 students joined in on the fun for Mission Week. During Mission Week students served 450 meals to the community, hosted over 75 students for the JOY Back to School Bash, cleaned and prayed over Adair County High School and worked at the JOY Crisis Resource Center.

Joy Ministries would like to thank Kosair Charities for their support. The generosity of Kosair Charities made Camp HOPE possible and played an instrumental role in the success of Mission Week and JOY's Back to School Bash. Krystal Cundiff of JOY Ministries shared, "Kosair Charities plays such a integral role in our summer programming and outreach efforts. We are so grateful for the kindness they have extended to our organization over the years. They make all of this possible."
