Blood drive Wednesday at Lindsey Wilson College

The American Red Cross is asking healthy individuals to ensure blood is on the shelves this fall by donating on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, from 10amCT to 4pmCT in the Holloway Health & Wellness Center, 399 Williams St., Columbia, KY

As we look toward fall, we know blood donor availability can be a challenge as kids head back to school and people celebrate the Labor Day holiday. Donors are needed now to ensure blood is available when patients need it.

The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.
