Reader wants help identifying 1934 Red Lick School students


Photo Red Lick School group, follows this story
A reader, Connie Phelps, wants help identifying the photo which accompanies this story."I am hoping that someone could tell us who some of the folks in this 1934 Red Lick School group photo."


She continues, "I was told that the tall young guy was Hal Roach and that maybe A.J. Parrish is to the right of him. We would be grateful for any help with the names of the people."

1934 Red Lick School group photo



2005-04-06 - Columbia, KY - Photo Staff. Reader Connie Phelps believes that the tallest young guy is Hal Roach and that the student next to him is A.J. Parrish. She would appreciate confirmation of these two identifications and any help identifying the others.
Rev. Phil Parrish, A.J. Parrish's son, thinks the photo may be later, perhaps around 1939, if his father, who was born in December 1931, is correctly identified. Letter from Rev. Phil Parrish
