Randy Mae Dyer Thacker, 73, Metcalfe County, KY Randy Mae Dyer Thacker, age 73, of the Lone Star Ridge community of Metcalfe County, KY left this world for her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Born June 4, 1948, in the Pea Ridge community of Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and Dullie Long Thacker. She was a housewife and of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include, two daughters, Deloris (Billy) Taylor and Judy (Frankie) Branham both of the Lone Star Ridge community; one son, Johnny (Linda) Dyer, Lone Star Ridge; one sister, Chris (Ricky) Morrison, Lone Star Ridge; one brother, Paul Thacker, Lone Star Ridge; 9 grandchildren, Daniel (Whitney) Piper, Randi Piper, Michael (Anna) Piper, Jonathan Piper, Jordan Branham Miranda Branham, Michelle (Sam) Adams, Sarah Dyer, and Matthew Dyer; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Preceding her in death besides her parents, were her husband Johnny Ralph Dyer and one sister Shirley Sue (Charlie) Abney. Funeral services will be Friday, August 27, 2021, 11amCT at McMurtrey Funeral Home with Brother Matthew Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery.
