LWC Women's Golf Expected to Finish 2nd in MSC Preseason Poll

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team is favored to finish second in the Mid-South Conference women's golf conference title, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

The Blue Raiders earned 86 points in the poll and three of the 11 first-place votes. Campbellsville (KY) were selected as favorites to win the conference title, picking up 97 voting points and two first-place votes.


Cumberlands (KY) sits in third with 85 points and four first-place votes while Cumberland (TN) is fourth with 77 points and the final two first-place votes. Pikeville (KY) sits in fifth with 57 points while Georgetown (KY) is sixth with 49.

Freed-Hardeman (TN) sits in seventh with 43 points, Thomas More (KY) is eighth with 39 and Bethel is ninth with 25.

Tennessee Southern and Shawnee State (OH) round out the poll with 24 and 23 points, respectively.

Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.
