Columbia Adair EDA has new number, web address

Chairman Bobby Morrison opened the Adair County Economic Development Authority meeting Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

Chester Taylor gave the opening prayer at the meeting. Among the words in his prayer, he gave thanks for being in a country where there is peace to gather and lead, and the health to attend and help in the organization.

New sign information was presented meant to gain attention to acreage coming available with the new road completion. Heather Spoon provided the graphic and the proposed new phone number and website, with the address www.columbiakyeda.com - both accepted by the EDA Board at the August meeting. Her dad, Larry Russell Bryant, has volunteered to help with the sign.

The new phone number was given out which is designed to get a live answer to every call by either a Board member, City or County leader.

The EDA meets the third Tuesday of each month at 8amCT at 201 Burkesville Street in Columbia. The new phone number to call is (844) ADAIRCO.
