CPD: Trafficking arrest

On Saturday, August 14, 2021, the Columbia Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on Dillon Street after having conducted a drug trafficking investigation.

Multiple officers with CPD were on hand for a home search, which yielded findings of drug paraphernalia, suspected methamphetamine, and suspected fentanyl laced Xanax.


Timothy Wheeler, 51, of Columbia is facing multiple charges including possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine, and trafficking in a controlled substance carfentanyl or fentanyl.

Additionally, two males also on scene during the search were taken into custody. Brandon Gillock, 41, of Russell Springs, and Brandon Dial, 36, of Columbia, both had outstanding warrants.

Three arrested on drug charges
