Cheryl Jones Powell, 53, Albany, KY (1967-2021) Mrs. Cheryl Denise (Smith) Jones Powell of Albany passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at her residence. She was 53 years old. The Funeral will be conducted at 2pmCT on Friday, August 13, 2021, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main St, Burkesville, KY. Burial will follow in the Rose of Sharon Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 3pmCT on Thursday, August 12, 2021 until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband, John E. Powell of Albany, Kentucky, daughter, Casey Jones of Burkesville, Kentucky, step-daughters, Angela Dicken, Cindy Conatser, Wendy Latham all of Albany, Kentucky, siblings, Mary Studebaker of Ohio, Leslie Smith, Ella Smith both of Keavy, Kentucky, Melissa Smith of Corbin, Kentucky, Michelle Bolton of London, Kentucky, Toni Smith of Keavy, Kentucky grandchild, Trystan Evers, step-grandchildren, Jonathan (Dagan) Conatser, Bethany Conatser, C.J. (Madison) Dicken, Ben Latham, Alci Latham, step-great grandchildren, Braxton, Brylee. Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky is honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
