Paul Kelsay, 82, WWII Veteran

Services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Grissom Funeral Home for Paul Kelsay who passed away today at the nursing home. He was the son of the late Butler and Ethel Wells Kelsay, a US Army Veteran of WWII and an Adair County farmer.
Survivors include:
  • His wife, Alene Kimbler Kelsay of Columbia

  • His children and their spouses: Pauline and Charles Robinson of Knifley; Bobby and Kaylene Kelsay of Campbellsville; Jerry and Fay Kelsay of Columbia; Mary and Danny Bush of Helenwood, Tennessee; and Wanda and Danny Hatcher of Columbia

  • One brother and two sisters and their spouses: Lerman and Beck Kelsay of Mammoth Cave; Ruth and Joe Johnson of Columbia; and Emma Lou and Morris Woods of Holland, Indiana

  • 18 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren

  • He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers, Vida Carter, Vernon Kelsay, Marcella White and James Kelsay.

Visitation is after 1 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2005. Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday at Grissom Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Freedom Cemetery.
