LWC Women's Track & Field 2020-21 Rewind

By Kyle Jackson

The Lindsey Wilson women's outdoor Track & Field team finished second in the Mid-South Conference championships in a year where they racked up five top 10 finishes in outdoor competitions. Due to varying concerns with the pandemic, the women's indoor track & field team only competed in one event where no team score was given. Meredith Johnson did qualify for the NAIA Indoor Championships where she placed 11th in the 1,000-meter run, missing the finals by just over two seconds.

Five Blue Raiders competed in the 2021 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships with Laila Hardin, Emilija Kusic, Jahlia McNealy, Kerryann Scott and Ty'Nasia Walker all earning a spot in the qualifiers.
