Russell (Russ) Duke, 62, Russell Springs, KY (1958-2021) Russell "Russ" Duke of Russell Springs passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville. He was 62 years old. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Caleb Shirley officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5pmCT to 7pmCT on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home, and after 8amCT on Friday until time of services. Born on December 26, 1958, in Red Bank, New Jersey, he was the son of Warren and Norma Garcia Duke. Russ worked for 37 years as an Operations Supervisor for Brunswick Zone in Hazlet, New Jersey. More recently, he was a cross-country delivery driver with his wife, Connie. This opportunity to travel the country coast-to-coast together, was one both Russ and Connie treasured. Russ was a quiet man with a razor sharp wit and loved by all who knew him well. He was a car enthusiast, enjoyed woodworking, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Connie Wilson Duke, of Russell Springs; his father, Warren Duke, of Holmdel, New Jersey; a sister, Janet Hudson, of Shrewsbury Township, New Jersey; two daughters, Jessica Grzeskowiak, of Union Beach, New Jersey, Stephanie (and Josh) Hensley of Davenport, Florida; one step-daughter, Ellie Anne (and Bobby) Flanagan, of Russell Springs; seven grandchildren, Kaley Grzeskowiak, Emma Hensley, Harper Hensley, Noah Flanagan, Julien Flanagan, Remy Flanagan, and Emalynn Flanagan.
