Medical Practitioners McDaniel and Shipp arrested by KSP McDaniel Family Medical's Dr. Robert Shipp and Nurse Practitioner Rocky McDaniel lodged in Federal Courthouse in Louisville After a two-year investigation by the Kentucky State Police and Federal Drug Enforcement Administration, Dr. Robert Shipp and Nurse Practitioner Rockie McDaniel have been arrested on Federal Warrants. They were placed under arrest by Detective Hammond along with DEA Agents. Both men were turned over to the custody of the U.S. Marshall Service and lodged in the Federal Courthouse in Louisville. Rocky McDaniel was charged in trafficking in controlled substances schedules II, III and IV. Dr. Robert Shipp was charged with conspiracy to traffic in controlled substances II, III and IV. Each faces up to 20 years incarceration in a federal correctional facility and a million dollar fine. Some of the controlled substances were being distributed through the Family Medical Center without a legitimate purpose and outside the ususal and customary medical practice.
