Hill and Valley Saddle Club to have benefit for Jimmy Rogers A benefit horse ride, dinner and auction will be held by the Hill and Valley Saddle Club for member Jimmy Rogers on April 17, 2005. It is being held on Randy Hatcher's scheduled ride begining at 10 a.m. from his place in Milltown. He says, "we're planning a big day to give everyone a chance to help Jimmy out -- there will be lots of food and fun, so plan to bring the whole family." All donations will be greatly appreciated, the event host said, because, "Jimmy has cancer and, as he's always been self employed, is without any health insurance." A coming two-year-old Walking Filly will be raffled off at $5 per ticket (5 for $20). There will also be miscellaneous items donated and auctioned off at the event. Dinner will be served starting at 4 p.m. at the Hatcher's place located approximately two-and-a-half miles past Milltown on the right (watch for the gray horse barn). For information, contact Randy at 378-6493 or Michael Rogers, 634-0222 or 384-0302, or Darrell Pelston, 378-6125.
