Roger Allen Coomer, 71, Adair Co., KY native (1949-2021) Roger Allen Coomer of Louisville passed away on July 23, 2021. He was 71 years old. His funeral will be on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 7pmET at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. Interment will be on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at NoonCT at Jones Chapel Cemetery in Adair County, KY. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1pmET until the time of service at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home. He fought a difficult battle with cancer and remained strong throughout his journey. Roger was a native of Adair County, Ky and the son of Bill and Mary Lizzie Sneed Coomer. He was born on September 1, 1949. He was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Eugene Coomer; and sister, Rose Keltner. Roger is survived by his wife of 24 years, Pat Woosley Coomer; daughter, Sarah Coomer; step-daughter, Keely Daniel (Pat); step-son Brent Goodman (Shannon); a grandson, Chase Thornton; a sister, Helen Rogers; and several nieces and nephews.
