LWC Men's Basketball: 2020-21 Rewind

The Blue Raiders featured one all-conference selection in Elijah Jordan. The junior guard collected the honor after leading the team in points per game, averaging 16.8 for the season and 17.0 in conference contests. He additionally led Lindsey Wilson with 39 total assists and 22 total steals. Jordan was proficient from the floor, boasting a conference sixth-best 0.500 field goal percentage.
Payton Cundiff scorched the hardwood from beyond the three-point arc, dropping 45 shots from the outside to not only lead the team in that category but also rank number 12 in the conference. His hottest performance of the season came at Georgetown (KY) on New Year's Eve when he shot an impressive 7-of-11 from behind the 3-point line. Cundiff was also second on the team in scoring with 10.4 points per outing, while he led the Blue Raiders from the charity stripe, shooting 82.4 percent (28-of-34).
Also contributing largely on the score sheet was Colen Gaynor, who posted 10.1 points per contest.
The senior controlled the glass for Lindsey Wilson, snatching a team-best 139 rebounds, including 101 defensively. His rebounding average of 7.32 per game was fourth-best in the Mid-South. Gaynor was instrumental in the Blue Raiders' upset of then-No. 18 Dalton State (GA). The native of Berlin, Maryland shot 11-of-14 from the field against the Roadrunners, adding nine rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block in the win. His efforts secured that week's Player of the Week honor from the conference.
Among Lindsey Wilson's collection of victories included a season-sweep of Bethel (TN). The Blue Raiders outscored the Wildcats by an average of 14 points over their two meetings.
