Constance (Connie) Hopper Jones, 71, Russell Springs, KY (1949-2021) Constance "Connie" Hopper Jones of Russell Springs passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at her home. She was 71 years old. Funeral services are scheduled for 11amCT on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Liberty Baptist Church of Russell Springs, with Bro. Casey Baker and Bro. Greg Estes officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Springs City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 5pmCT until 8pmCT at Liberty Baptist Church. Connie was born in Louisville on November 18, 1949, daughter of Jetha and Evelyn Katzman Hopper. She married Edward Jones in 1975. Connie was a graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Pharmacy. She worked for her dad at Hopper Drug in Russell Springs for several years, then worked pharmacy in Liberty until retiring. Connie was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church in Russell Springs, leading the church choir for years. She is survived by her husband, Edward; her son, Brent (and Melanie) Jones, of Bowling Green; her daughter, Laura Woodrum, of Russell Springs; her mother, Evelyn Hopper, of Russell Springs; her brother, Ronald (and Karen) Hopper, of Russell Springs; her sister, Rebecca (and Rudy) Higginbotham, of Columbia; and her grandchildren, Lydia Jones, Davis Jones, Emersyn Jones, Camryn Woodrum and Owen Woodrum. Connie is preceded in death by her father, Jetha Hopper. Pallbearers will be Matthew Hopper, Jansen Hopper, Patrick Higginbotham, Darrell Coffey, Charles Smith and Billy Selby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1859, Russell Springs, KY 42642 Bernard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
