William (Billy) Albert Cook, 77, Edmonton, KY (1944-2021) William (Billy) Albert Coo of Edmonton passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at his home. He was 77 years old. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2pmCT on Monday, July, 2021, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Randolph community of Metcalfe County. Brother Gary Richardson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Glasgow Chapter of DAV. Born February 5, 1944, he was a son of the late Albert and Ruie McFarland Cook and the husband of 58 years of Sylvia McCoy Cook, who survives. He was a farmer, drove a gas truck for Ashland Oil and was of the Church of Christ faith. He was a veteran of the U S Army. Survivors other than his wife include, two sons Tracy (Beverly) Cook, Edmonton and Kelly Cook, Glasgow; two sisters, Betty Robertson, Edmonton and Gladys Hughes, Glasgow; two brothers, Donnie Cook, Hiseville and Jessie Cook of Bowling Green; 4 grandchildren, Daniell Elmore, Nicole Cook, Owen Kelby Cook, and Zackary Cook; and three great grand children. Preceding him in death besides his parents, were two brothers, Wesley and Bobby Cook; and one sister Joyce Nichols. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
