Anna Lou Bryant, 81, Russell Springs, KY (1940-2021) Anna Lou Bryant of Russell Springs passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at her home. She was 81 years old. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pmCT on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY. Burial will follow in Russell Springs City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1pmCT on Saturday, at Bernard Funeral Home, until time for services. Anna Lou was born on March 22, 1940, in the Montpelier Community of Russell County, daughter of the late George Elford and Letha Bradshaw Hayes. She loved gardening, crafts and her family. Anna Lou showed her love through her deeds and would do anything she could for her people, complaining all the while. She is survived by her sons, Jacky Bryant, of Jamestown, Tony Bryant (Kim), of Owensboro, and Scott Bryant (Renee); her daughter, Shella Skaggs (Joel), of Russell Springs; her sister, Wanda Sullivan (Jerry), of Russell Springs; her grandchildren, Whitney Barger (Michael), Chase Skaggs (Rebecca), Jacob Bryant (Laura), Hannah Silverman (Skylar) and Hayden Bryant; and eight great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Anna Lou is preceded in death by her brother, George Garrett Hayes; and her sisters, Tresia Higginbotham and Helen Morgan. Bernard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
