Kenneth Wayne Spears, 62, Summer Shade, KY (1958-2021) Mr. Kenneth Wayne Spears of Glasgow, formerly of Summer Shade, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021, at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He was 62 years old. The funeral service will be conducted at 2pmCT on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main St, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Charles Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in the Bow School House Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 10:30amCT until the funeral hour. He was born in the Maple Hill Hospital in Albany, Kentucky on Thursday, August 28, 1958, the son of James Haskel "Hack" & Hilda Mae (Perkins) Spears. He was of the Baptist faith, attended Bow School House United Baptist Church, and was a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Harold (& Peggy) Spears of Louisville, Kentucky, uncle, Glen Perkins of Burkesville, Kentucky, niece, Tanya (& Charlie) Matthews of Shepardsville, Kentucky, nephew, Rick Spears of Louisville, Kentucky, great-nieces, Emma Matthews, Isabelle Spears, Alyvia Spears.
