Keith Victor Coomer of Columbia passed away on June 17, 2021 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was 65 years old.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later time.

Keith Victor Coomer was born February 22, 1956 in Campbellsville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence Opal Shuffett Coomer and Joseph Lynn Coomer as well as his brother, Randy Delmer Coomer and his brother in law, Joe Marshall.

He is survived by his wife, confidante and co-conspirator of 38 years, Jayne Marshall Coomer; his sister, Peggy Jo Coffey; his brother, Mitchell Coomer and his niece, Tammy Pickett, of Greensburg, Ky; his brothers in law and sisters in law, Jim & Tina Marshall and John & Dorie Marshall of Jacksonville, FL; his nephews and nieces, Brent & Heidi Marshall of Jacksonville, FL and Joshua & Kristi Marshall of Morganton, NC; his seven great nephews, Layke Pickett of Greensburg KY; Danny, Shane, Liam and Cayden Marshall of Morganton, NC; Emory and Elton Marshall of Jacksonville FL; his two great nieces, Ashley Sroka of Columbia, KY and Edith June Marshall of Jacksonville, FL; several great great nieces and nephews; and his beloved four legged children Marley, Saydi, Spencer, LuLu, Puddin and Nester.

Keith professed his Faith in Christ at a young age and was a lifelong member of Liberty Separate Baptist Church in Green County. He worked at Green River Lake for many years where he was fondly known as Big Daddy or Doc. Keith never met a stranger and loved to make everyone laugh. His greatest enjoyment came from joking and pranking until you laughed along with him. He had scores of "kids" whom he thought of as his own and in his heart, they all truly were his own.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Sugarfoot Farms Rescue, which can be made at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 West Court St., Greensburg, KY 42743

Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at fostertolercurry.com.
