Fresh produce weekly at Farmers Market on the Square

Lots of fresh produce is arriving each week at Farmers Market on the Square, blueberries are arriving now, new potatoes and green beans have arrived. The market offers locally-grown or -made products: mushrooms, local meats beef, chicken, pork, lamb, new fruits and vegetables each week, lots of other items available goat milk soap, cut flowers, jams and jellies, local honey, artisan breads, cookies, cakes, plants, many crafts that make great gifts.

Stop by on Saturday morning from 8amCT to 1pmCT at the corner of Campbellsville and Merchants Streets. Shop local and support your farmers.

Ajaxx the puppy cooling off at FM2

In Veronica Klinglesmith’s booth at the Saturday morning Farmers Market on the Square, a welcome mat is out for dogs to cool their pads on, and they can also get a drink of fresh water. Anita wrote that Ajaxx the "puppy", an 8-month old Rottweiler, was taking advantage of the friendly spot last week. FM2 is located on the corner of Merchant and Campbellsville Streets in Columbia and starts at 8amCT Saturdays.
