Amanda Megan Vaughn, 21

Services will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home for Amanda Vaughn whose death occurred suddenly at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington on Saturday, February 19.

Visitation will begin after 2 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.


Amanda is survived by:
  • Her father, Johnny M. Vaughn of Columbia

  • Her mother, Donna J. Brockman Vaughn of Knifley

  • A sister Susan Burton of Lexington

  • A niece Taylor Marie Burton of Lexington

  • Her maternal grandmother, Margaret J. Dunn of Columbia

  • One special uncle, Rick Scott, of Morgantown, KY along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Amanda was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James L. "Sonny" and Alice Mae Moran Vaughn, and by her maternal grandfather, William Elzie Brockman.

Bro. Stephen Martin will officiate at the Tuesday morning services.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to Hospice of Central Kentucky or to the Plum Point Baptist Church building fund where Amanda attended.
