Robert (Blue) Harris, 79, Campbellsville, KY (1941-2021) Robert "Blue" Harris of Campbellsville passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021. He was 79 years old. The funeral service will be held at 2pmET on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. Randy Buckles. Burial will follow in Mt. Washington Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Robert "Blue" Harris, son of the late Milburn R. Harris and Ermin Whitlock Harris, was born July 14, 1941, in Illinois. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Blue was a retired maintenance employee for the City of Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Opal Curry October 28, 1958. Blue enjoyed being outdoors, whether it be for work or fun. Besides his wife, Opal Harris, of Campbellsville, Blue is survived by two sons and two daughters: Garry Harris and wife, Carolyn, Malinda Redman and husband, David, Tommy Sebastion and Shelby Sebastion of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Garry Robert Harris of Bowling Green, Megan Olivia Harris, Aaron Christopher Harris and Amanda Martin of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren: Jordan Gabehart and Hunter Gabehart of Campbellsville and Connor Harris of Bowling Green; four brothers and one sister: Seibert Harris, Spot Harris and Melvin "Dick" Harris of Campbellsville, George Ray Harris of Clinton, Illinois and Annette Sharp of Scottsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Blue was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Dale Harris in 1959 and three brothers: Tommy Harris, Hank Harris and Marvin Harris. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
