Ronald Dale Brock, 56, Vietnam veteran, dies

Ronald Dale Brock, 56, 2104 Millltown Church Road, Columbia, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at 12:15 p.m., at his home, after an illness.

The funeral service will be Thursday, February 17, 2005, at 1:00 p.m., CST, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Bobby Withers officiating.

Mr. Brock had worked at Fruit of the Loom. He attended the First Church of the Nazarene, and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was the son of Clarence and Esther Brock, Milltown, KY, who survive.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sandra Keltner Brock, and the following:
  • One daughter: Angie Antone, Columbia, KY
  • One son: Jared Brock, Columbia, KY
  • Three brothers: James Brock, Hermitage, TN; Ralph Brock, Campbellsville, KY; and Tommy Brock, Columbia, KY
  • Four sisters: Sheila Kinslow, Glasgow, KY; and Shirley Stilts, Doris Janes, and Darlene Bardin, all of Columbia, KY
  • One granddaughter: Breanna Antone
  • His father-in-law and mother-in-law: Bobby and Lou Ann VanArsdale Keltner, Columbia, KY
  • And a host of other relative and friends
He was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Brock, in 1979.

Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery with Military Honors by local VFW Post 6097.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. CST, Wednesday, February 16, 2005.
