Craig was born on October 8, 1970, in Casey County, the only child of Darrell and Linda Cochran Byrd. Preceding Craig in death is his mother, Linda Byrd; his daughter, Kendra Byrd, who passed away on May 7, 1994; and paternal grandparents, Russell and Lillian Byrd, who raised him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards Craig's final expenses. These may be received at the funeral home.

Craig's arrangements are entrusted to Bernard Funeral Home. On online guestbook is available at www.bernardfuneralhome.com.
