Marilyn McKinney Noel, 68, Columbia, KY native (1953-2021) Marilyn McKinney Noel of Shelbyville passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at her residence. She was 68 years old. Ms. Noel chose cremation, and a Celebration of Life service will be scheduled at a later time. Our beautiful sister Marilyn McKinney Noel, 68, of Shelbyville, KY left this earth Saturday, March 13, 2021 at her residence. She was born on January 18, 1953 in Columbia, KY to the late Edward and Helen Willis McKinney. She was a wonderful person and a terrific mother. She loved teaching at Bullitt East High School and wanted to inspire her students. She received the Teacher of the Year Award during her career. She was preceded in death by her beloved son William Trenton Noel and her parents Edward and Helen Willis McKinney. She is survived by her siblings Rosemary McGuffin, Mike McKinney (Bonnie) and Anne Stephens (Glenn, Jr.); nieces and nephews Mark Henson (Gayle), Laura Griffin (Scott), Angie Henson, Miranda Gray (Cain), Melissa Rodgers, Quinten Smith (Justin), Melanie Collins (D. A.) and Meagan Dovenbarger (Jason); several great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew. She is also survived by Trent's father Bill Noel (Kathy). She will always be missed and loved.
