Poll results so far: Most approve of legalizing the medical use of marijuana.

The poll/survey, "Do you favor legalizing the medical use of marijuana," was moved off the front page Thursday, January 27, 2005, at 1:00 p.m., to make room for a new survey.

At that time, a majority of those who had participated had voted in favor.

The results at the time were:
  • Yes, it's the the humane thing to do: 106 votes, 78.52%
  • No, I don't want marijuana legalized in any way: 25 votes, 18.52%
  • No opinion: 4 votes, 2.96%
The poll drew four comments.

As with other ColumbiaMagazine.com surveys, this one is still open for votes. We ask only that participants vote only one time.

To access this and other polls and surveys, go down the right column of this page to the current poll and click through.
