Campbellsville University designated a military friendly school By Scarlett Birge Campbellsville, KY - Campbellsville University has been added to the 2021 to 2022 Military Friendly Schools list. The Military Friendly Schools survey is the longest-running, most comprehensive review of college and university investments in serving military and veteran students to insure success on campus. Schools designated as military friendly meet the minimum criteria for striving toward and succeeding in areas that help veterans make the transition from the military to school, and ultimately achieving careers in the civilian world. Institutions earning the Military Friendly designation are evaluated using public data sources and response from a proprietary survey, with nearly 1,693 schools completing the survey each year. The Military Friendly ratings program was established in 2003 to advocate and encourage civilian organizations to invest in programs to recruit, retain and advance veterans as students, employees and entrepreneurs. The program provides benchmarks to aim for by posting a rating evaluating commitment, effort and success in creating a sustainable and meaningful benefit for the military community.
