State Police converge on motel to make arrest


Alfredo Ramirez arrested at Jamestown Court Motel;KSP says no known connection to string ofhome invasion robberies in Adair, Casey, and Taylor
Troopers and detectives from the Columbia State Police Post converged on the Jamestown Court Motel to arrest robbery suspect Afredo Ramirez.

Ramirez had been evading capture since he and Edgar Colorado salamanco allegedly robbed Jorge Allegrie at gunpont on the Louis B. Nunn Parkway in Pulaski County on January 3, 2005.


The Jamestown arrest took place on January 18, 2005.

Ramirez was charged with one count of robbery lst degree and possession of marijuana. He was lodged in the Russell County Jail.

The investigation is continuing by Detective Russell Decker and Trooper Kenra Wilson.

There is currently no know connection between Ramirez and the recent string of home invasion robberies in Adair, Casey, and Taylor Counties.
