Eldon Burchett, 81, Jamestown, KY native (1939-2021)

Eldon Burchett of Fairdale passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. He was 81 years old.

A religious service will be held at 2pmCT on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 North Main Street, Jamestown, KY. Interment will follow at Jamestown Cemetery Jamestown, KY.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from NoonCT until 2pmCT at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel.

We ask that everyone attending please wear a face covering and follow the Covid rules.

Eldon was born in Jamestown, KY on November 17, 1939, a son of the late Audrey (Lawless) and Delmer Burchett. He was a retired Tile Setter.

Eldon is survived by:
  • Two sons, Jerry Burchett, of Louisville, KY; and Gregory Burchett, of IN;
  • A brother, Thomas Burchett
  • Longtime companion Wanda Jupin, of Fairdale, KY
  • Nine grandchildren
  • 18 great grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Jacqueline Funk, and a brother Ralph Burchett.
