Bobby Davis, 83, Taylor Co., KY (1937-2021) Bobby Davis of Taylor County passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021. He was 83 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Monday, March 8, 2021, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Dr. Dwayne Norman and Dr. James E. Jones. Entombment will follow in Brookside Mausoleum. Visitation is requested from 4pmET until 7pmET on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Bobby Davis, son of the late Edgar Davis and Jessie Mae Speer Davis, was born August 1, 1937 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. Bobby retired as a supervisor from Fruit of the Loom after more than forty years of service. He united in marriage to Joyce Edelen May 18, 1957. Besides his wife, Joyce Davis of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons: Terry Davis and wife, Lisa and Jeff Davis and wife, Lallie of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Dr. Nicholas Glenn Davis and wife, Andrea of Crestwood, Dr. Holly Davis Washburn and husband, Eric, Alex Darby Davis and significant other, Nathan Cox and Abby Lauren Davis of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren: Max Washburn, Eli Washburn of Campbellsville, Ellie Davis and Juliette Davis of Crestwood; one brother, W.B. "Johnny" Davis and wife, Thelma of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters: Louise Kerr, Jean Mattingly, Margaret Marples, William Garnett Davis, Sr., Barbara Collins, William C. Davis, Lee Davis, Edna Kerr and Shelby Ray Davis. Family request expressions of sympathy be donation to Hosparus of Green River or Gideon Bibles and may be made through Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
