Columbia KSP Post 15 officers arrest Clinton man in shooting

Officers from the Columbia State Police Post arrested Jeffery R. Guffey, 41, Albany, KY, for for shooting Danny Stearns, Albany, KY, with a shotgun.

The arrest came at 2:55 p.m. (2055 hours) on Friday, December 31, 2004.


The action came in response to a call shortly before about the incident on Connor Ridge Road, about 12 miles north of Albany, KY.

According to the report, the two men had been arguing.

Jeffery Guffey was charged with Assault 1st and was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.

KSP Trooper David Long and officers from the Clinton County Sheriffs Offices are investigating this case.
