Officers Jr. Murphy, Anthony Darnell make New Years Day drug arrests

Two men were arrested after a traffic stop Saturday evening, New Years Day, January 1, 2005 in the limits of Columbia, KY:

  • The driver, Gary Rich, 50, Celina, TN, was charged with DUI, possession of a controlled substance first degree (cocaine), possession of drug Paraphernalia and failure to signal
  • A passenger, James Graham, 38, Burkesville, was charged with alcohol intoxication, possession of a controlled substance first degree (cocaine), and promoting contraband
They were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Officers Jr. Murphy and Anthony Darnell.
