New C of C Board Members installed at Christmas event The annual Chamber of Commerce Christmas Party is a time when Chamber members get together for the installation of new officers and board members, to recognize Board members whose term of office will expire at the end of the year, and to enjoy good food and entertainment. New Board members installed were Dave Johnston, CEO of United Citizens Bank of Southern Kentucky, Stephen Keen of Barger Insurance, Darrell Treece, Superintendent of Adair County Schools. Nominated for a new term were Doug McCammish of McCammish Manufacturing Company and Traci Pooler of Lindsey Wilson College who was unable to attend the Christmas event and will be installed at the January Board meeting. Richard L. Walker, Lewis Garrison, and Bro. Joseph Payne wererecognized for outstanding contributions made during their terms of service to the Chamber. Patricia Harper and Monica Rodgers served as Co-Chairpersons. Bernie Bricker was guest entertainer with a variety of music. Chamber President Richard Phelps said, We are indeed grateful and most appreciative to the businesses that made this event possible. Sponsors were: Community Trust Bank, Family Home Health Care, Jeffries Hardware and Wholesale Electric, and Lindsey Wilson College. Door Prize Sponsors were: Aaron Mortgage, Adair Florist, Circle R Restaurant, Flowers 'N' Things, Hallmark of Columbia, Highland Raku Studio & Gallery, Hilltop Auto, Hi-Temp Graphics, Julia's Flower Garden, OK Country Cooking, Pizza Hut, Service Cleaners/ Quality Personnel, and Walker Florist.
