Columbia Christian has Special Christmas Program Our Living Christmas Tree runs December 16, 17 & 19 By MARCI WHITE, Secretary Phone 270-384-2612 E-mail: columbiachristian at alltel.net The Living Christmas Tree is completed!! Many people have spent many hours constructing and decorating the tree, and it is beautiful!! Performance times will be December 16, 17,and 19 at 7:00 each evening. The tree contain 12,500 lights and has four tiers from which 28 choir members will be singing. We thank everyone who donated greenery. A big thank you goes to those who helped with the construction and the decorating. We all need to be inviting people to the performances. Spread the word around and invite your friends, neighbors, co-workers, classmates, and even strangers. The program will begin with our youth performing a Christmas drama. Following the drama, the choir will present "Celebrate Christmas" from the tree. The program includes everyones favorite Christmas carols and songs. There will be the traditional songs like The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls, and A Caroling We Will Go. Many of the favorite traditional church Christmas songs will also be included along with some newer arrangements: God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, Joy to the World, Marys Little Boy Child, Go, Tell It on the Mountain, Jesus, What a Wonderful Child, From the Cradle to the Cross, Once and For All, and many others.
