Geraldine H. McKinney, 91, Jamestown, KY (1929-2021)

Geraldine H. McKinney of Jamestown passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY. She was 91 years old.

A religious service will be held at 2pmCT on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 North Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Barry Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.

A walk through visitation will be held from NoonCT until 2pmCT on Tuesday at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel.

We ask that everyone attending please wear a mask or face covering and follow Covid rules.

Geraldine was born in Jamestown, KY on December 25, 1929, a daughter of the late Lela (Cook) and Bartie G. Hadley.

She was a Homemaker and a member of Jamestown United Methodist Church

Geraldine is survived by:
  • Two daughters, Sharon Tucker and Michelle (Trent) Roy
  • A sister, Justine Wright
  • Grandchildren Jacob Tucker, Ben (Christy) Roy and Chelsea (Austin) Felty
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Pete McKinney, 5 brothers G.D., Mac, Ronald, Eugene, and Dean Hadley, 2 sisters Lou Humble, and Gwendola Dunbar.
