Frances Sue Gilpin, 79, Casey County, KY (1941-2020) Frances Sue Gilpin, of Liberty, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at her home. She was 79. Born on July 27, 1941, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Cameron Lee and Edna Frances Eads Withers. She was a retired bus monitor for the Casey County Board of Education. She attended both Antioch Christian Church and Ellisburg Baptist Church. She loved her pets and traveling. She formerly often visited people at local hospitals and nursing homes. Frances is survived by a brother, James Cameron (Teresa) Withers of Liberty; a sister, Betty Thomas of Somerset; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by both husbands, Otis E. Kershaw and Esker A. Gilpin. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, January 4, 2020, at Mill Springs National Cemetery with Bro. Sherman Floyd officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30-12:30pmET on Monday, January 4, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings ARE required. Pallbearers will be Loren Martin, Cameron Withers, Paul Luttrell, Dennis Davenport, Jimmy Couch, and Zandall Buck.
