James Montie Helm, 86, Jamestown, KY native (1934-2020)

James Montie Helm of Shepherdsville passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020, while in the company of family members, at his daughter's residence. He was 86 years old.

Services will be held privately, at the convenience of family, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, Jamestown, KY. Interment will follow at Hadley Cemetery Jamestown, KY.

A walk through visitation will be held on Thursday from 11amCT until 1pmCT at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel. Covid Practices are in place.



James was born in Jamestown, KY, on July 4, 1934, a son of the late Lizzie (Warriner) and Robert Helm. He was the husband of Juanita (Collins) Helm.

James is survived by a daughter, Drema, wife of Robert Harris, of Shepherdsville, KY;

James is also survived by a sister, Geneva Walters, of Jamestown, KY; three brothers, Marvin Helm, of Jamestown, KY; Roy Helm of Louisville, KY, Roger Helm, of Jamestown, KY.

He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Robert Harris, IV, and Jessica Warner wife of Blake, and two step-grandchildren.
