Eleveta Sparks helps us with Lindsey Wilson group i.d.

Eleveta Sparks, Director of the LWC archives, came through with some information about the mystery photo of the student group.

She tells us that the year is probally 1948-1949 and some of the girls include Elizabeth Lowe, Thelma Blaydes , Norma Helm, Marie Walkup.

From the back of Mildred Wade Humble's photo, names included her husband Eugene (she and Gene are the couple on the front, left corner) and at the far left J.A. Humble, and on the other side of Mildred is Claude J. Humble.

She noted in her scrapbook that 14 of her family including 5 inlaws attended LWC. The Wade family was from Goose Creek in Russell County and the Humbles were from Campbellsville at that time.Mildred and Gene settled in Somerset after living several years in Campbellsville after they first married.
