George D. Garrett, 60, Dunnville, KY (1960-2020) George D. Garrett of Dunnville passed away on Tuesday evening, December 22, 2020, at his home, surrounded by his family and friends. He was 60 years old. Funeral services will be held privately for family only at Bernard Funeral Home with Brother Jim Seabolt officiating the service. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, with full military honors performed by the Casey County Veterans Honor Guard. Born on April 21, 1960, in Liberty, Kentucky, he was the son of Elizabeth Barlow Garrett and the late James Alfred Garrett, III. George was the owner/operator of Triple G. Manufacturing and Garrett Transportation, LLC. He was a 40-year gate manufacturer and truck driver. George enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his friends and being outdoors working on his land. His life revolved around his granddaughter and spending time with her. George is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Garrett; his beloved wife, Deana Arms Garrett of Dunnville, whom he wed on July 17, 2000; one daughter, Brittany (and Tyler) Emerson of Russell Springs; one son, Jordon White of Nashville; and one granddaughter, Royce Page Emerson. Other survivors include one sister, Wilma Greer of Virginia; and one niece, Ashley Greer of Virginia. Brian Roy, Bruce Roy, Darrell Vaught, Mike Minton, Tyler Emerson, and Brittany Emerson will serve as George's pallbearers. Bernie Wesley, Lynn Baldock, and Royce Page Emerson will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Gideon's International.
