Vivian F. Flanagan, 73, Jamestown, KY (1947-2020)

Vivian F. Flanagan of Jamestown passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Russell County Hospital. She was 73 years old.

A private service will be held at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, Jamestown, KY, on Saturday, December 27, 2020, with Bro. David Blair and Bro. Ryan Coffey officiating. Interment will follow at Jamestown Cemetery Jamestown, KY.

Walk through visitation is requested on Sunday, December 27, from NoonCT to 2pmCT at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main St., Jamestown, KY. We ask everyone attending please wear a face covering and follow Covid rules.



Vivian was born in Jamestown, KY on April 4, 1947, a daughter of the late Nina (Canada) and Daris Foley.

She was a homemaker and attended French Valley United Methodist Church.

Vivian is survived by:
  • A son, Eric (Heather) Selby, of Russell Springs, KY
  • A step daughter, Monica (Scott) Grinnell, of Rochester, NY
  • A daughter-in-law, Denishia Selby, of Louisville, KY
  • Three sisters, Darlene Patton, of Cincinnati, OH; Jacqueline Jenkins, and Sarah Wilkerson, of Jamestown, KY
  • Four grandsons, Evan (Elissa) Selby, Matthew Selby, Ethan (Kim) Selby and Carter Grinnell
  • A host of nieces and nephews
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Rudy Flanagan, son Dennis Selby, and step-son Clint Flanagan

The family requests memorial donations to the French Valley United Methodist Church building fund. These can be made at the funeral home.
