Janet Wood, 65, Adair Co., KY native (1955-2020) Janet Wood of Campbellsville passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020. She was 65 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Saturday December 26, 2020, at Elk Horn Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Brian Rafferty. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested from 9amET to 11amET on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at Elk Horn Baptist Church. Janet Wood of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Zackie Giles and Louvena Blair Giles, was born December 8, 1955 in Adair County, Kentucky. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and currently at Campbellsville Apparel. Janet professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church. She was a loving wife and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Janet united in marriage to Raymond Wood June 5, 1981. Besides her husband, Raymond Wood of Campbellsville, she is survived by two daughters: Natalie Wood and Amber Wood, both of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Kolton Railley, Konnar Railley and Karley Railley; four sisters and two brothers: Pauline Smith of Evansville, Indiana, Linda Scott and husband, Jimmy, Shirley Lockard and Gordon Giles and wife, Elaine of Louisville, Barbara Burton and husband, Jeff of Shepherdsville and Jerry Giles and wife, Janie of Bowling Green; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends also survive. Expressions of sympathy are requested to be donations to Elk Horn Baptist Church Childrens Ministry and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
