Arnell Hammonds, 88, Casey Co., KY (1932-2020) Arnell Hammonds, formerly of Casey County, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020, in Fairfield Township, Ohio. She was 88 years old. The funeral service will be held privately for family only on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, with Bro. Rick Sallee officiating. Burial will be held at Antioch Cemetery. Born on January 6, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Sallie Pearl Fox Sallee. Arnell was a retired housekeeper at Bethesda North Hospital. She was a member of Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church, Tri-County Baptist Church, and Order of the Eastern Star. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She greatly enjoyed singing. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Zeis (and Jeff) of West Chester, Ohio; two sons, Ralph Hammonds Jr. (and Mindy) of Sharonville, Ohio and Robert Hammonds of Middletown, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jennifer Knott (and Brian), Jeff Henry (and Sarah), Rob Hammonds, Jon Hammonds, and Rachel Hammonds; and five great-grandchildren, Bailey, Croix, Brenna, LJ, and Tony. Arnell is also survived by a sister, Nora Dean Miller of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, and additional family members that loved her. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two sisters, Anna Jean Roy and Mary Alice Spears; and two brothers, Robert Sallee and James Sallee.
