Don Smith, 81, Campbellsville, KY (1934-2020) Don Smith of Campbellsville passed away on Friday December 18, 2020 in Glasgow. He was 81 years old. A funeral service will be held at 11amET on Monday, December 21, 2020, at Bible Baptist Tabernacle in Campbellsville, officiated by Pastor Bob Cutler. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested after 10amET on Monday at Bible Baptist Tabernacle. Don Smith of Campbellsville, son of the late Claud Smith and Iva Ermine Pike Smith was born August 15, 1939 in Adair County, Kentucky. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle where he had served as a deacon. Don enjoyed reading and studying the Bible and ministering to those in jail and the nursing home, where he would play his guitar and sing. Don had a heart for his family and they called him a kind and sweet man. He always advised them to trust in the Lord. He was a retired custodian for the Campbellsville Independent School System after some 27 years of service. Don united in marriage to Wanda L. Bryant March 24, 1967. Besides his wife, Wanda L. Smith of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and two daughters: Donna Lynn Morrison and husband, William Scott Morrison of New Albany, Indiana, Larry Wayne Smith and Karen Michelle Seaborn and husband, Dale Mathis Seaborn of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Emily Elise Morrison, Elizabeth Anne Seaborn and Kara Danielle Seaborn and many other relatives and friends. Expressions of sympathy are requested to be donations to Gideon Memorial Bibles and may be made through Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
