Gerald J. Remer, 59 Gerald J. Remer, 59, 2606 Highway 1729, Russell Springs, KY, died Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at 2:50 p.m., at the Fairoaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, KY. The funeral service will be Monday, November 29, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., at Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville St., Columbia, KY, with Rev. Gerald Cantrell the officiating clergy. He was the son of the late Gerald Benjamin and Clare Catherine Huffman Remer and was retired from the Collier County Sheriff Department in Naples, FL. He is survived by his wife, Mary Callahan Remer, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation is after 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 27, 2004, at Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville St., Columbia, KY. Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
