ACJE Cowan appointed to state Board of County Judges Adair County Judge Executive Gale Cowan has been appointed to the Executive Board of the Kentucky County Judge Executive Association in Frankfort. She will be representing the Lake Cumberland Area Development District for 2021. The KCJEA Executive Board works with all County Judges across the state to address concerns that affect all counties within Kentucky. "It's an honor for me to be selected by my peers to serve in this capacity," Cowan said, "I look forward to representing the Lake Cumberland Area Development District and the entire State of Kentucky." The KCJEA Executive Board will work closely with the State Legislature as well as other Elected Official Associations to provide the research and training needed to move Kentucky forward. Russell County Judge Executive Gary Robertson will be serving as Sgt. At Arms and Cumberland County Judge Executive John Phelps is the current Past President for the 2021 calendar Year. KCJEA Officers for 2021 are as follows: President, Dan Mosley, Harlan County; 1st Vice - Harry Berry, Hardin County; 2nd Vice - Casey Ellis, Owen County; 3rd Vice - Larry Foxworthy, Fleming County; Secretary - Greg Terry, Carlisle County; Treasurer - Hollis Alexander, Trigg County; Sergeant at Arms - Gary Robertson, Russell County; Past President, John Phelps, Cumberland County.
