LWC Women's Basketball picks up 84-69 road win at Cumberland By Chris Wells Lebanon, TN - Lindsey Wilson women's basketball used dominant second and third quarters to cruise to an 84-69 win over host Cumberland (TN) tonight at the Dallas Floyd Phoenix Arena. The Blue Raiders (7-1, 2-1 in the Mid-South Conference) outscored the Phoenix 50-28 in the middle two quarters en route to building as much as a 34-point lead. Sydnie Hall and Bree Glover combined for 17 points in the opening half to give the Blue Raiders a 40-26 advantage at the break. Lindsey Wilson all but put the game out of reach in the first five minutes of the third quarter with a 16-0 run out of the locker room. Glover scored nine points during the spurt to extend the Lindsey Wilson lead to 56-26 with 4:58 remaining in the quarter. Glover and Hall -- who hit 6-of-8 3-pointers -- each finished with a career-high 20 points. Glover added 12 rebounds for her first double-double of the season. Reagan Turner -- who scored 15 second-half points -- ended with 18 points. The Blue Raiders finished the game with an outstanding night shooting from beyond the 3-point arc and at the charity stripe. Hall helped the Blue Raiders hit 10 3-pointers in the game -- marking the third time this season Lindsey Wilson reached double-digit makes from beyond the arc. In addition to stellar outside shooting, the Blue Raiders shot 86.7 percent (26-of-30) from the free-throw line. Ashlyn Pittman led Cumberland (1-1, 1-1) with 18 points in the loss.
