First trick-or-treat experience a success by Linda Waggener Don't read this unless you are a grandparent. People who don't yet have grandchildren just don't understand that with a job title like "Mema", one can become seriously silly over the smallest things. For instance, a Mema can be (and was) reduced to happy tears watching a toddler wearing his dalmation puppy suit handed down from his big brother as he takes his first few steps toward conquering the halloween tradition of trick-or-treating. I can't recommend grandparenting highly enough. Adopt someone else's if you need to, I hear there are many children out there in need of an extra set of grandparents. The joy is simply incredible. If you'd like to follow their stories, here are some past articles celebrating Evan and his big brother Graham Waggener: Evan's birth Evan's Christening Graham's birth Graham waiting for baby brother.
